It is sad, the Filipinos, have not
really imbibed the teachings of Rizal.
The Filipinos are still STRANGERS IN THEIR OWN LAND, where the foreigners and the internal Filipino elites rule. A person,who graduates from the elite University of the Philippines, still needs political patronage to get a job.

This was true since we became independent in 1946. That was my experience, when I was looking for a job. My congressman/Ninong, did not help much. He ordered
his secretary to type me a letter of
recommendation.
Conditions improved when I finished with
Masters in history from the University
of the Philippines. The University of
Recto(UE) offered me a job. I I taught
Rizal, Phil history, political science
in their college of liberal arts and sciences.

Crony Tan, now owns the school.
Recently the school conferred an honoris
causa degree to his son!Pathetic!

I would have enjoyed the performance, but
i cannot fly to Chicago. Having some
familiarity with the Josephine Bracken
let me share my impressions from orange
sunny orange park, florida.It is natural
for women to be attracted to Lolo Josse. He was gallant, brilliant,etc,etc etc.
He was like the perennial sailor with a girl in every port. He could have stayed
in Europe, become a prosperous person
practicing medicine. What did Rizal do?
He went home, against the warming of his
closest friends and relatives. He stayed
in Hongkong and practiced there. He conceived of a Filipino colony in Borneo. My salute to you the indomparable JOSE RIZAL.

Sir Mariano Santos, KCR…..I continue to doubt our politicians.
I call them SenaTONGS and TONGressmen.
Even the policemen are easily corrupted.
This my scenario. In a metro Manila town
a boy scout was directing traffic. He
jeepney driver, was giving him pesos bribe. The young man, said:’ANONG PALAGAY
MO SA AKIN PULIS?”

The Catholics Church
have other documents with
doubtful or questionable provenance.
They had the Inquisition to enforce

In my book Rizal did not retract. There is no authentic document of retraction.
The Catholic church produced one done
by a forger. I am sure the guy was pad
monies to forge the document.Read Juan
