Irene Fernandez of Des Plaines passed away on April 10 in Libertyville, IL. She was 80 years old. She was predeceased by her husband Perfecto A. Fernandez; was the mother of Aurora, Ferdinand, Irene, Perfecto III, and Michela Fernandez, Imelda Paguio, Cecilia Ajeda, and Karen Hlava; and a grandmother of 22. Irene received a Master's degree and was a teacher for over 20 years. Wake was held at Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines, with a funeral from the funeral home to Our Lady of Ransom Church in Niles. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines IL.
